Scent of Wednesday – Quick Review

Dahlia Divin by Givency

You know it’s a winner when your Husband says, “Mmmm. It smells good up in here,” after the morning spritz. The scent of the day is Dahlia Divin by Givenchy. Dahlia starts off with a bang, which I like a lot. The scent is not your usual berry or vanilla, it is minutely sweet with a  sour tang, but not a bergamot or orange. No candy here! Yee Ha!
Dahlia Divin is tangy and zesty with a bouquet of white flowers on a bed of patchouli and vetiver. With Dahlia I can detect the zesty fruit, the white flowers, the patchouli and the vetiver from the get go. It is all there and nobody is trying too hard for attention.
Be careful from time of spray to entering your workplace or public place as Dahlia can be a little “Whoa” for some people. You can spray a few times and it will be fine. The composition is balanced so you can’t really overspray. The dry down is more vetiver, lemongrass like than patchouli.

Longevity – 7 to 8 hours
Sillage – Moderate

Southern Personality Group: Magnificent Magnolia
Perfume Rating: Smells Downright Gorgeous ♥♥♥♥

Have a fab day all!
